For a great cause.
Because we always need more pink, Rust Wine Co. has come out with a magnum (1500ml) size that is helping a great cause. For every magnum sold, $5 will go to the British Columbia Hospitality Foundation (BCHF), which assists those in need in the hospitality industry.
That being said, this is a sweeter rose, made from Merlot, with a rusty-salmon hue. The nose offers maraschino cherry with underlying strawberry marshmallows, savoury spices and cedar chips. It has a creamsicle character on the palate, which is cut with tart pink grapefruit, and a slick, notably viscous, weight.
Chill it down and toss it back.
